Freshmen Lecture for Winter Term 2022/23

I’m giving tomorrow’s welcome/example lecture for our Computer Science freshmen at Hamburg. It will take place in Audimax 2. The lecture topic is traditionally Petri Nets (in remembrance of Prof. Dr. Carl Adam Petri, a honorary professor at the University for Hamburg whose work had a big influence in Hamburg for quite some time). You can find the slides (in German) here (with overlays) and here (without overlays).

Remark (2022-10-12): Since I didn’t have time to do the final, larger example (dining philosophers), here’s a short video (from last year’s OE) where I explain that example. The password to access the video is “oe2021-dangeroustogoalone”.
